Halimah Marcus - USA - Eventing
Halimah Marcus has been riding with Susie Beale for about six years. Halimah and her horse, Absolute Canadia (also known as "Dave"), a 16.1 hand thoroughbred gelding, are currently competing at the Preliminary level. They placed 1st at the Virginia Horse Trials in November 2002, and most recently placed 5th at Fair Hill in May 2003. Halimah is taking a brief break from competing to get settled as a freshman at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY, but plans to enthusiastically return to the sport summer 2004.
